How does it work for you?

The treatment we provide under the Child Dental Benefit Scheme is bulk billed for eligible children and up to the total benefit provided by the schedule. Presently the total benefit entitlement is capped at $1,000 per child over a two calendar year period. When you make the appointment let us know you are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

At the time of the appointment, we’ll examine your child and if needed a treatment plan will prepared. Then we will share the findings with you and together we will choose the best plan for your child. We will disclose to you if there are any associated costs before providing the services.

The CDBS allows for a wide range of services including examination, x-ray, oral hygiene, fissure sealing, fillings, root canal treatment and extractions.
